Second Day of Azerbaijani Youth Forum Highlights Urban Planning Initiatives

Khankendi: The second day of the 11th Azerbaijani Youth Forum held in Khankendi continued with panel sessions within the framework of AUC2026.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the forum is part of a larger initiative leading up to the 13th session of the World Urban Forum, which is scheduled to take place in Baku from May 17-22. In anticipation of this significant event, various thematic activities are being organized under the Azerbaijan Urban Planning Campaign. This campaign is a collaborative effort between the Government of Azerbaijan and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat).

The ongoing sessions at the Azerbaijani Youth Forum are structured to engage youth participants in discussions about urban development and planning. These discussions are aimed at preparing for the upcoming World Urban Forum by fostering dialogue and generating ideas that align with the objectives of the Azerbaijan Urban Planning Campaign.
