Selected works by Stefan Zweig published in Azerbaijani

The Azerbaijan State Translation Centre has announced the publication of “Selected Works” by Stefan Zweig, a world-famous Austrian writer, as part of a 150-volume series “Pearls of World Literature.”

 

The author of the epilogue entitled “Stefan Zweig – Great European” about the writer’s life and creativity is Vilayat Hajiyev, a notable translator of the German language. The book includes the author’s famous short stories “Letter from an Unknown Woman”, “The Governess”, “Burning Secret”, “Amok”, “Fear”, “Moonbeam Alley”, “Twenty-Four Hours in the Life of a Woman”, as well as his famous miniatures “’Stellar Moments of Humankind’”, “Joseph Fouché: Portrait of a Political Man.”

 

The authors of the translation are notable literary translators Vilayat Hajiyev, Charkaz Gurbanli, Zahid Mammadov, Nariman Abdulrahmanli, Hamid Arzulu and Gabil Ahmadov.
