Serbia Aims to Boost Military Ties with Azerbaijan

BELGRADE — Serbia plans to enhance its military cooperation with Azerbaijan, bolstering ties between the two nations, Serbia’s Foreign Minister Marko Djuric announced at a joint press conference with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Serbia’s economic growth and reduction in unemployment over the past decade were partly supported by Azerbaijan. “We have seen positive developments in Azerbaijan that encourage us to seek better political results and cooperation, including in the military sector,” Djuric stated, emphasizing Serbia’s intent to become a reliable partner to Azerbaijan in Eastern Europe.
