Serbian MFA: Iran’s Drone Attacks on Azerbaijan Unacceptable

Baku: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia has condemned Iran's drone attacks on Nakhchivan, APA reports. The Serbian MFA stated that the incident in the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, which endangered the security of the area and its population, is considered unacceptable. Serbia fully supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Serbian MFA emphasized that attempts to involve friendly countries in wider regional conflicts or to destabilize border regions, such as the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, are unacceptable. Serbia remains committed to the principles of preserving peace, respecting international law, and the UN Charter. Additionally, it is focused on strengthening friendly and partnership relations with Azerbaijan.
