Baku: “Azerbaijan rapidly clears landmines in liberated territories,” Serbian traveler Eve Besser, who visited Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, said in a statement to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Besser emphasized that the demining work in the region is carried out professionally. “I’ve previously been to Laos, where landmines also remain a serious issue. But I believe Azerbaijan is carrying out this process much faster,” he noted.

Besser highlighted the professionalism of Azerbaijani demining teams, stating, “This is extremely dangerous work. Azerbaijan has highly skilled specialists in this field – their dedication is truly impressive.”

He expressed hope that the landmine threat will soon be fully eliminated, which would allow displaced families to return to their homelands and continue their normal, happy lives.
