The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu today called the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Zakir Hasanov in connection with the situations on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.

During the telephone conversation, Hasanov stated that the provocations committed by Armenia on the state border of the two countries have been resolutely prevented.

Shoigu expressed his readiness to make efforts to end hostilities and stabilize the situation.
