Baku: A series of WUF13 Festival events will be held in various cities to inform the public about the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will take place in Baku on May 17-22, 2026, the WUF13 Operations Company told APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the festival will open in Baku on April 28. The events will then continue in Sumgayit on April 29, in Guba on April 30, in Lankaran on May 2, in Gabala on May 4, in Sheki on May 5, in Mingachevir on May 6, in Ganja on May 8, and will conclude in Khankendi on May 10.
The festival program will consist of two parts. In the first half of the day, informational sessions on WUF13 will be organized at universities operating in the cities hosting the events. In the second half of the day, public outdoor programs will be held.
As part of the evening program, topics such as sustainable urban development, inclusive urban environment, innovative urban solutions, and cities of the future will be presented to a wide audience through interactive activities, educational games, presentations, and public discussions. At the same time, detailed information about the main theme and ideas of WUF13 will be provided.
It should be noted that participation in the events will be free.
