Shamil Ayrim: “Next stage of Turkish-Armenian negotiations will be held in coming days”

“Shusha Declaration is a document, which brings friendship and brotherhood relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey to a level of alliance, which shows roadmap of our relations to us,” Head of Friendship Group with Azerbaijan Shamil Ayrim told journalists at the Turkish Grand National Assembly, APA reports.

According to him, the Shusha Declaration indicates the deepening of our relations to ensure peace and stability in the region.

“As you know, Armenia still does not recognize the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. However, the Moscow and Kars agreements signed in 1921 is a document confirming the borders between Turkey and Azerbaijan. This is a very important agreement, but Armenia still does not accept it. We hope that this issue will be resolved during the talks on the normalization of relations, “he said.

Stressing holding the first meeting of Turkish and Armenian special envoys in Moscow, Ayrim has brought to attention that the next meeting will be held in the coming days.
