Shusha: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on a sister city relationship between the Azerbaijani city of Shusha and Trabzon city of Trkiye has been signed as part of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13). The agreement aims to foster collaboration and strengthen ties between the two cities.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the MoU was signed by Aydin Karimov, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shusha district, and Ahmet Metin Gen§, Mayor of Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality. This partnership is expected to promote cultural exchange and mutual development initiatives.

Shusha has already established sister city relationships with 10 other cities, highlighting its commitment to international cooperation and urban development. The new agreement with Trabzon is anticipated to further enhance these efforts, bringing new opportunities for both cities.
