Baku: An international children’s creativity festival titled ‘Shusha – the Cultural Gem of Turkic Unity’ was held in the city of Shusha. The event was organized by the Ministry of Science and Education, with the local bureau of APA reporting on the proceedings.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the festival saw the participation of nearly 300 schoolchildren from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Hungary. These young participants showcased the rich musical and dance traditions of their respective countries.
The festival aimed to reflect the unity of Turkic-speaking peoples and was attended by Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, along with renowned cultural and art figures, schoolchildren, and children of martyrs. The event sought to introduce children from Turkic-speaking nations to each other’s national customs and traditions, fostering friendship, brotherhood, and mutual cooperation among them. ies for participants to proudly represent their countries’ history and culture while highlighting the enchanting beauty of the city of Shusha.
