Significant copper reserves discovered at Kharkhar deposit

“Anglo Asian Mining plc”, a producer of gold, copper and silver, has discovered significant copper reserves at the Kharkhar deposit. An initial exploration model of mineralization has been prepared. Also, the geological block model and the exploration of open-pit mining is ongoing. The company has identified significant mineralization at the Kharkhar deposit through in-depth study and verification of data received from “AzerGold” CJSC and its own geological field work, “Anglo Asian Mining plc” reported today. Note that “AzerGold” CJSC drilled 15 core drilling wells at Kharkhara with a total length of 4,923 meters. Three wells with a total length of 1,140 meters were selected and analyzed by “AzerGold” CJSC. “Anglo Asian Mining” conducted geological core logging, sampling and analysis of the remaining core. The company also reviewed other information received from “AzerGold” CJSC, which included geochemical and geophysical data along with maps and interpretive reports. The company started the core drilling program at Kharkhar immediately after its acquisition. It also built a portal and leads an exploration tunnel to the ore body. The contract territory of Kharkhar borders the contract territory of Kedabek in the north, east and west, and these two contract territories are adjacent. The Kharkhar deposit and many other mineral deposits are located on this area.
