Over 9 months of 2021, 504 people were killed in 1,171 road accidents in Azerbaijan, another 1,043 were injured. This is stated in a report of the state traffic police of the country.

Also, 1,130, or 96.6% of accidents occurred as a result of violations committed by drivers.
