Fuel consumers in Azerbaijan in January-February 2023 purchased motor gasoline and diesel fuel for a total of 408.7 million manats ($240.4 million at the current exchange rate). This is by 7.7% higher than in January-February 2022, according to the report of the State Committee on Statistics of the Republic of Armenia. In the total volume of retail turnover in Azerbaijan during the reporting period, revenues from sales of motor gasoline and diesel fuel amounted to 5%. As reported, in 2022, fuel consumers in Azerbaijan purchased gasoline and diesel fuel for a total of 2 billion 768.7 million manats ($1 billion 628.6 million), which is 7.9% higher than in 2021.
