Baku: Slovenia has expressed a keen interest in extending its demining cooperation with Azerbaijan, as articulated by Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon during a press conference alongside Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Fajon emphasized the importance of exploring collaborative opportunities beyond the energy sector, highlighting potential in various economic areas. Both governments also recognize the significance of climate security, with Minister Fajon congratulating Baku on hosting the upcoming COP-29. She noted that the event would play a crucial role in addressing climate-related issues, and emphasized Azerbaijan’s strong standing in this domain. Slovenia is eager to continue and enhance its cooperation with Azerbaijan in all business sectors, particularly in the longstanding area of demining.
