Ljubljana: Leading energy companies from Slovenia have been extended an invitation to collaborate extensively in Azerbaijan’s oil and gas sector. This invitation was confirmed by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov, in a post on X, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussions took place in Ljubljana and included Slovenia’s Minister of Environment, Climate and Energy, Bojan Kumer, along with key figures from Slovenia’s energy sector. Notable attendees were Simon Urbancl, CEO of Geoplin; Sa‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬¦¡o Berger, President of the Management Board of Petrol Group; Marjan Eberlinc, CEO of Plinovodi; and Toma‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬¦¾ ‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬¦ tokelj, CEO of HSE. The discussions focused on developing cooperative efforts across various areas of the energy sector. The invitation extends to Slovenia’s leading energy companies to engage as both investors and offtakers in Azerbaijan’s oil and gas sector, as well as in green energy projects.
