Baku:SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf recently met with Anant Maheshwari, President of Strategy and President and CEO of Global Regions at Honeywell Technologies, to discuss the advancement of their partnership in the energy sector.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting highlighted the satisfaction of both parties with their ongoing collaboration and explored ways to enhance their partnership, focusing on areas such as digital transformation, automation, and resilience within the energy industry.

SOCAR presented its ongoing initiatives aimed at digitalizing operations and incorporating innovative technologies. Both parties also shared insights on topics such as industrial automation, the energy transition, and operational safety.

Concluding the discussions, SOCAR and Honeywell Technologies signed a historic Global Framework Agreement. This agreement outlines a new strategy for SOCAR's domestic and international assets and establishes a framework for future product and service provision, including software and technological solutions.
