Baku:SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Anant Maheshwari, President of Strategy and President and CEO of Global Regions at Honeywell Technologies, to discuss the expansion of their partnership in the energy sector.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting highlighted the satisfaction of both parties with the ongoing cooperation and explored opportunities for further collaboration in areas such as digital transformation, automation, and resilience within the energy sector.

During the discussions, SOCAR provided insights into its current projects focused on digitalizing operations and implementing innovative technologies. The meeting also covered a range of topics including industrial automation, the energy transition, and operational safety, reflecting the mutual interests of both organizations.

The discussions culminated in the signing of a Global Framework Agreement between SOCAR and Honeywell Technologies, marking a significant milestone as it is the first such agreement in SOCAR's history. This agreement outlines a comprehensive approach to SOCAR's domestic and international assets and establishes a framework for future supplies of products and services, including software and technological solutions.
