SOCAR Launches WIN Open Innovation Program to Integrate Advanced Technologies

Baku: SOCAR has announced the opening of applications for its WIN (What is Next) Open Innovation Program, which seeks to incorporate innovative ideas and cutting-edge technologies into the energy sector. The initiative, launched on August 21, is designed to explore and test technological solutions that can improve oil and gas operations and facilitate the energy transition, working closely with SOCAR experts to evaluate the feasibility of these innovations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the program focuses on key areas such as energy transition and low-carbon technologies, artificial intelligence, data analytics, digitalization, sustainable economy, operational excellence, and health, safety, and environment (HSE). The application window is open until September 12, 2026, and welcomes startups, technology companies, and innovators from across the globe.

Selected participants will have the opportunity to receive a testing budget of up to USD 20,000, enabling them to pilot their projects in a real operational setting alongside SOCAR experts.
