SOCAR may take part in creation of LNG terminal in Pakistan

Yesterday, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov met with Minister of State for Petroleum of the Ministry of Energy of Pakistan Musadik Malik. “During the meeting, the possibilities of expanding cooperation between the two countries were considered. Discussions were held on the development of current cooperation in the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and petroleum products, as well as SOCAR’s participation in the creation of an LNG terminal in Pakistan,” the press service of the Ministry of Energy said. According to the agency, during the meeting, the parties noted the importance of the energy cooperation agenda covering the areas of renewable energy and energy efficiency
