Baku: SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf recently held a meeting with Askhat Khassenov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Kazakh National Company KazMunayGas (KMG). The meeting, which took place on June 1, focused on the ongoing and successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan within the energy sector.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, both leaders expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between SOCAR and KazMunayGas. They emphasized the positive progress of the project aimed at transporting Kazakh oil through Azerbaijan, reviewing current efforts to ensure its continued success.

During the discussions, Najaf and Khassenov also explored potential joint investment opportunities in third countries and addressed other issues of mutual interest. The meeting underscored the commitment of both companies to strengthen their partnership in the energy sector.
