Baku: Rovshan Najaf, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), met with Hussain Lootah, Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of ENOC Group. During their meeting, both leaders focused on enhancing cooperative efforts between their respective companies.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussion underscored the significance of the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding between SOCAR and Dragon Oil. Signed in November, this agreement is pivotal for bolstering bilateral relations and opening avenues for collaboration in the energy sector.

The dialogue extended to exploring joint ventures across different segments of the energy industry. Key areas of interest included exploration, production, digitalization, trading, and marketing. Both parties expressed a keen interest in leveraging these opportunities for mutual benefit and strengthening their strategic partnership.
