Baku: SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, Chief Executive Officer of Masdar. During the meeting, both sides hailed the successful cooperation between SOCAR and Masdar in the development of renewable energy sources.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the parties reviewed progress on wind and solar power plant projects implemented in Azerbaijan with the joint participation of the companies. The sides also discussed prospects for further developing cooperation in the areas of a just energy transition and decarbonization.

The meeting emphasized the importance of continuing dialogue on these and other issues of mutual interest. Both leaders expressed their commitment to furthering the partnership focused on sustainable energy solutions.
