Istanbul: SOCAR Trkiye has expressed its readiness to participate in Syria’s energy supply, as announced by Elchin Ibadov, CEO of SOCAR Trkiye, during a press conference held in Istanbul. This development underscores SOCAR Trkiye’s commitment to contributing to regional energy demands amid evolving political dynamics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ibadov highlighted that the establishment of peace and stability in Syria and the surrounding region is a positive development. He emphasized that with peace and stability, economic growth is anticipated, which will consequently lead to increased energy demand.

Ibadov mentioned that if there is a demand for energy and if SOCAR Trkiye is assigned a role in alignment with the strategic interests of Azerbaijan and Trkiye, fulfilling this role would be a duty they undertake willingly. This statement reflects SOCAR Trkiye’s strategic positioning and readiness to support energy supply initiatives in the region.
