The statement highlights that false claims are being made about ongoing registration for compensation and encourages individuals to contact specific mobile numbers.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the statement clarifies that the information being spread does not reflect reality and is intended to mislead citizens. The agencies urge people not to trust such false announcements. They strongly advise against contacting unknown phone numbers and caution against sharing personal or financial information, including bank card details, ID information, or SMS verification codes, with third parties.
The joint statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Media Development Agency emphasizes that investigations into the dissemination of this fake information are currently underway. Citizens are reminded to remain vigilant and avoid making any payments based on these deceptive claims.
