South Korean Official Warns Russia of Consequences for Security Threats


Seoul: South Korean First Vice Foreign Minister Kim Hong-kyun has issued a stern warning to Russia regarding any actions that could threaten South Korea’s key security interests.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during a meeting with Russian Ambassador to Seoul Georgy Zinoviev, Kim emphasized that the Republic of Korea is prepared to respond “together with the international community, using all accessible means,” should its security be jeopardized. The engagement, facilitated by the South Korean Foreign Ministry, underscores the growing concerns in Seoul over security threats and its readiness to deploy a coordinated international response to such challenges.
