Baku: Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova met with the Speaker of the House of People's Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Tagasse Chaffo, on July 28, as part of her official visit to Ethiopia.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during the meeting, Tagasse Chaffo emphasized that Ethiopia places significant importance on its relationship with Azerbaijan. He expressed optimism that this visit by the Azerbaijani parliamentary speaker would contribute to further deepening cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries.

Speaker Sahiba Gafarova reciprocated by highlighting that her visit is a testament to the high value Azerbaijan places on building and maintaining mutual relations with Ethiopia. The discussions underscored the importance of enhancing parliamentary ties to bolster bilateral cooperation in various fields.
