Avaza: On August 3, a delegation of the Azerbaijani Parliament led by Speaker Sahiba Gafarova departed for a working visit to Turkmenistan, to participate in the Parliamentary Forum set to be held as part of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs). Speaker Sahiba Gafarova will chair the first session of the Parliamentary Forum to be held in Avaza, Turkmenistan.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis is expected to deliver a speech at the Forum and hold several meetings. The visit underscores Azerbaijan’s active engagement in international discussions concerning landlocked developing countries, highlighting the nation’s commitment to addressing the unique challenges faced by these regions. The participation of the Azerbaijani delegation aims to foster dialogue and cooperation among the attending nations.
