Baku: Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has arrived in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on an official visit, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the delegation led by the Speaker of the Milli Majlis was welcomed at the international airport of Addis Ababa by Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples' Representatives Lomi Bedo, State Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Berhanu Tsegaye, and Chief of the MFA Protocol Service Melaku Bedada. Azerbaijan's ambassador to Ethiopia, Ruslan Nasibov, and other officials were also present at the airport to greet the delegation.

The visit itinerary includes a series of meetings that Speaker Sahiba Gafarova will conduct with Ethiopian officials. These meetings aim to enhance bilateral relations and discuss cooperative endeavors between Azerbaijan and Ethiopia.
