Today we are witnessing a very historic event, the first resettlement of residents to Zangilan, and I congratulate the people of Azerbaijan on this occasion, Vahid Hajiyev, the special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, told journalists, APA reports.

“As you know, reconstruction works were started in Karabakh and East Zangezur immediately after the war by order of President Ilham Aliyev. Quite large infrastructure projects are also being implemented in Zangilan,” said Vahid Hajiyev.

According to the president’s special representative, Zangilan Airport will soon be put into use. Vahd Hajiyev said that the relocation of families to Agali village will continue in the coming months.
