State Bank to pay dividends at 3 qepik per share

The state-owned International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) is preparing to pay dividends to its shareholders. This is announced by the IBA.

The decision on payment of dividends was taken by shareholders at the regular general meeting on June 30, the IBA said. According to the decision, the IBA profit reached AZN 125 million last year. Since the bank’s authorized capital of 1.241.3 million manat consists of about 4.6 billion shares of 0.27 manat par value, 2.7 cents of dividends will be paid per share.

At the last meeting the shareholders also approved the financial statements for 2021, approved by IBA’s external auditor and recommended by the Audit Committee. They decided to liquidate the withdrawn shares of the bank.
