State of emergency declared in Russia’s Kurgan Region over wildfires

A state of emergency due to wildfires was introduced across the entire Kurgan Region of Russia beginning on May 7, the Telegram channel of the regional government reported on Sunday, APA reports citing TASS.

“Beginning on May 7, a state of emergency was declared in the entire Kurgan Region. The relevant decree was signed by the governor,” its statement said.
