State-Owned Enterprises Contribute AZN 636.6 Million in Dividends to Azerbaijani Budget

Baku: In 2025, enterprises with state ownership stakes in Azerbaijan paid a total of AZN 636.6 million in dividends to the state budget, APA reports. This substantial contribution was highlighted in the 'Annual Report on the Execution of the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025,' presented during a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, SOCAR, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic, was the largest contributor, paying AZN 461.5 million in dividends. The International Bank of Azerbaijan (ABB) followed with a contribution of AZN 175.1 million. These dividends were a significant part of the overall revenue, with the state budget receiving AZN 1 billion 252.3 million under other revenues, which exceeded the forecast of AZN 861 million by AZN 391.3 million or 45.5%.

Dividends from state companies represented the primary source of other revenues, accounting for 50.8% of the total. Additional revenues included customs duties and fines from organizations financed by the state budget, amounting to AZN 173.7 million, revenues from unused balances totaling AZN 157.8 million, and income from managing the free balance of the Treasury Single Account, which contributed AZN 136 million, among other sources.
