NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Saturday that it is still “not too late for Russia to change course” and decide against invading Ukraine, APA reports citing Teletrader.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Stoltenberg insisted NATO is looking for a diplomatic solution but hasn’t seen any signs from Russia so far that they want the same. He accused Moscow of continuing to amass forces near the Ukrainian border despite announcing it will reduce the number of troops in the region and threatened to build up NATO’s presence in the region. “If the Kremlin’s aim is to get less NATO on its borders, it will get more NATO,” he said.

The NATO head also slammed China for calling on the alliance to stop accepting new members.
