A strong wind blowing at about 2:00 p.m on June 6 caused serious complications in a number of residential settlements in the Ordubad region, APA reports.

Damages were registered mainly in Ordubad city and Ashagi Andamij, Yukhari Andamij, Kotam, Deste, Paragha, Ganza, Nusnus, Ashagi Aylis, and Yukhari Aylis villages and Shahriyar settlement of the region. The wind, which lasted for several minutes, knocked down 68 large trees and damaged 114 trees. The wind seriously damaged the roofs of 91 houses and 2 residential buildings in Ordubad and rural settlements.
