STRATCOM Summit Begins in Istanbul with Delegates from 37 Nations

Istanbul: The STRATCOM Summit has commenced in Istanbul, bringing together 159 high-level representatives from 37 countries, as reported by APA's Trkiye bureau. The event is designed to establish Istanbul as a global communication hub and is focused on the theme of 'strategic communication'.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the summit will see participation from notable figures such as Trkiye's Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Head of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Ibrahim Kalin, and Head of the Presidential Communications Directorate Burhaneddin Duran. Representing Azerbaijan at the summit is Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency.

The summit agenda includes discussions on pivotal topics influencing the global order. These include Trkiye's role in mediation, advancements in next-generation security architecture, cyber diplomacy, and addressing the global trust crisis. The summit is scheduled to continue over the course of two days.
