Baku: The strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Serbia is gaining importance in the context of the transformation of global politics, as highlighted by Serbian expert Andrej Bojic in a recent broadcast of the "Azerbaijan and the World" program on the AZERTAC website.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Bojic emphasized that the world is undergoing significant changes in the international system, the most profound since the 1990s. He explained that these changes are marked by the emergence of a multipolar structure in global politics, coupled with the weakening of multilateral mechanisms for international interaction.
Bojic elaborated that multilateralism was originally designed to consider the interests of both small and large states. He asserted that when multipolarity is achieved through multilateral formats, it contributes to global stability. In contrast, the absence of such formats can turn a multipolar world into a source of instability.
The expert further noted the importance of bilateral ties between states that uphold the values of multilateralism. He highlighted the partnership between Azerbaijan and Serbia as an example of a balanced and peaceful foreign policy, founded on cooperation and mutual respect for interests.
