Sudan’s Leader Sends Letter to President Ilham Aliyev Expressing Solidarity

Baku: Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan Abdelrahman Al-Burhan, President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of the Sudan, has sent a letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. The communication highlights Sudan's support in the face of recent geopolitical tensions.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter addresses concerns over the targeting of Azerbaijani territories by Iranian drones, which has resulted in the violation of Azerbaijan's national airspace. President Al-Burhan emphasized that such actions violate international law and the principles of respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states.

The letter further conveys Sudan's complete solidarity with Azerbaijan, expressing support from its leadership, government, and people. President Al-Burhan reaffirmed his backing for all legitimate actions taken by Azerbaijan to protect its sovereignty, security, and stability in accordance with international law.
