Baku: A significant meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund was held, attended by notable figures including Mikayil Jabbarov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The meeting saw participation from various board members, such as Mukhtar Babayev, the Representative of the President on Climate Issues, Members of the Milli Majlis Tural Ganjaliyev and Fatma Yildirim, Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Economics Adalat Muradov, and People's Artist of Azerbaijan Alim Gasimov.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting commenced with a presentation by Rahman Hajiyev, Chairman of the Executive Board, who reported on the Fund's activities over the first 11 months of 2025. The presentation highlighted the projects undertaken during this period, the achievements reached, financial statistics, and significant priorities set for the upcoming period.
Mikayil Jabbarov brought forward several critical agenda items for deliberation, including the establishment of an Audit Committee under the Supervisory Board, the creation of new Investment Rules for managing the Fund's assets, and the appointment of an external financial auditor for 2025. Additionally, the Budget of the Karabakh Revival Fund for 2026 was reviewed and approved.
The meeting concluded with the adoption of decisions concerning the discussed issues. Board members were also briefed on green energy, agricultural park, and industrial zone development projects currently under consideration by the Fund.
