Baku: Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden, has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on the occasion of Azerbaijan's Independence Day, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter from King Carl XVI Gustaf expressed sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Aliyev. The king extended his hopes for President Aliyev's health and happiness, as well as the prosperity of the Azerbaijani people.
