Tehran: The evacuation process from Iran via the Azerbaijan border is proceeding, as reported by APA's southern bureau. The Swiss Ambassador to Iran, Olivier Bangerter, along with a six-member delegation, was recently evacuated through this route.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ambassador Bangerter expressed his interest in continuing diplomatic activities in Baku. He praised Azerbaijan, describing it as a beautiful and peaceful nation, and expressed gratitude for the arrangements made for their evacuation. "From here we will go to Baku. I would very much like to continue our activities in Baku, but the state itself will make that decision," Bangerter stated.
