BAKU, Azerbaijan, Swiss companies are interested in setting up a business in Azerbaijan, said Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency Orkhan Mammadov during the Azerbaijan-Swiss form, Trend reports.
He proposed creating joint enterprises that would bring new technologies and innovations to the business sector. He also proposed to implement a training program jointly with the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) of Switzerland in order to study the Swiss experience.
Speaking about the agency’s activity, Mammadov noted that one of the directions iÑ‹ financing domestic market research.
“There are centers for SME development, where free training and consultations are conducted. Also, we created a special platform for e-commerce in order to support the sale of products and services by SMEs through a single platform,” said Mammadov.
