Syria to Participate in World Urban Forum 13

Baku: Elnur Shah Huseynov, the Acting Executive Director, held a meeting with Maher Edlibi, Governor of Damascus, the Syrian Embassy in Azerbaijan said in a statement, APA reports. The meeting took place ahead of a delegation from the Syrian Arab Republic visiting the Republic of Azerbaijan to be part of the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF-13).

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting aimed to discuss Syria's participation in the upcoming WUF-13. The forum is an opportunity for Syria to engage with international representatives on urban development and planning. The discussion between the two officials highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in urban planning initiatives.
