Baku: A delegation led by Major General Hafiz Jabor Azizzoda, Chief of the Personnel and Military Education Department of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan, is visiting Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense told APA. The delegation’s itinerary included a visit to the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev, where they were briefed on the institute’s history and its current activities.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Tajik delegation met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan, Ilhom Abdurahmon, to discuss prospects for developing the military education system. The delegation also engaged with Tajik cadets enrolled at the institute, inquiring about their academic progress and exploring the institution’s facilities, including classrooms and technical resources. Additionally, the delegation visited the institute’s museum and the Military Trophy Park, where they viewed equipment captured during the Patriotic War.
