Tashkent Exhibition Showcases Azerbaijan’s Economic Achievements


TASHKENT – Amidst the official visit of Azerbaijan’s head of state to Uzbekistan, Tashkent is hosting an exhibition focused on showcasing the economic strides of Azerbaijan, as reported by APA.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the event titled “The main directions of the economy – a step towards common prosperity,” held at the Uz Expo Center, displays various sectors of Azerbaijan’s economy, including industry, agriculture, digital development, and tourism. The exhibition, organized with the support of the Ministry of Economy and the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), was visited by high-level delegations from both Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, including Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Uzbek Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov. Highlights of the exhibition include an in-depth look at Azerbaijan’s restored territories, innovative projects, and the COP29 event, alongside traditional Azerbaijani textiles and carpet weaving. Additionally, the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand is prominently featured, offering visitors a taste of local food products and other commodities. The exhibition is set to continue through August 23.
