In 2022, fiscal revenues of Azerbaijan’s state budget totaled AZN 21.1 bln.

Head of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy Orkhan Nazarli announced this at ‘Heydar Aliyev and the Tax System of Azerbaijan: New Challenges” conference held in Baku on 10 February.

According to him, last year fiscal revenues accounted for 78.9% of budget revenues.

It is to remind that the fiscal revenues are revenues from taxes (15.5 bln AZN) collected by the State Tax Service, as well as revenues from mandatory state social insurance (4.6 bln AZN), unemployment insurance (0.2 bln AZN) and mandatory health insurance (0.8 bln AZN).
