Sanliurfa:Selcuk Bayraktar has highlighted the emergence of the TEKNOFEST generation in Azerbaijan, coinciding with the success of the TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival held in the country in May 2022. Bayraktar, who serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TEKNOFEST and the Board of Trustees of the T3 Foundation, emphasized the significant involvement of Azerbaijani teams in the festival's competition programs in Sanliurfa.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Bayraktar noted that teams from 97 different countries had applied to take part in the Sanliurfa festival, indicating the growing international appeal of the event, now in its 15th year.

Bayraktar also underscored Turkey's advancements in technology and defense, stating that over the past two decades, Turkey has become the largest producer of strike UAVs globally. He added that Turkey operates in 40 countries and has established direct drone production facilities in seven of them. Additionally, he mentioned that many specialists who had previously left Turkey are now actively returning.
