A temporary restriction on the movement of trucks was imposed in Bishkek. Press service of the City Hall reported.

According to it, the movement of trucks with a maximum total weight of more than 18 tons is prohibited from June 1 to September 1 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. when the daytime air temperature reaches 28 degrees Celsius and above.

The ban does not apply to vehicles that carry people, humanitarian aid, bulky and special cargo based on the relevant permits.

Bishkekasfaltservice municipal enterprise together with the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate will install additional road signs around the city.

The City Hall apologizes for the inconvenience caused and asks to take care of the road infrastructure.

A similar restriction was imposed earlier by the Ministry of Transport and Communications on public roads.
