Baku: Ten Azerbaijani citizens have been granted the opportunity to study in Latvia for the 2026-2027 academic year under the Intergovernmental Scholarship Program.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the final decision by the Latvian authorities allows these scholarship recipients to pursue their studies at various levels across several Latvian higher education institutions. The institutions include Riga Stradin€š¬…¡¬¦¡ University, Riga Technical University, the University of Latvia, Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, the Transport and Telecommunication Institute, and Turiba University, among others.

Azerbaijan is among the top five out of 22 countries that benefit from the Latvian Government's scholarship program, based on the number of scholarship recipients.
