The disciplinary commission remanded the case of deputy Salimov to the parliament for consideration

On August 3, an extraordinary meeting of Milli Majlis will consider a question of revoking the immunity of deputy Eldaniz Salimov.

This issue was considered on Monday at a meeting of the disciplinary commission.

İt should be recalled that a matter of depriving Salimov of the immunity was submitted by Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev on the basis of Ministry of Internal Affairs materials.

Note that on July 29, at night, Salimov beat a police officer who demanded not to violate the quarantine regime. In fact, the prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case under Article 309.2 (abuse of official authority).

“At the meeting of the Disciplinary Commission, Salimov admitted his guilt and asked for forgiveness. Members of the commission heard the appeal of the Prosecutor General and made a unanimous decision to remand the case to the parliament,” deputy chairman of the commission Fazail Agamaly told Turan.

There is no doubt that Salimov will be brought to criminal responsibility and possibly deprived of liberty.
