Baku: This year, the average monthly salary in Azerbaijan is projected to reach 1054 manats, APA-Economics reports, citing the forecast of the “Economist Intelligence Unit” (EIU), the research and analysis unit of “The Economist Group”.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the EIU’s forecasts indicate a steady rise in salaries over the coming years, with the average monthly salary expected to be 1108.4 manats in 2026, 1157.7 manats in 2027, 1204.2 manats in 2028, and 1264.8 manats in 2029. The projections suggest an increase of 6% in 2025, followed by a 5.2% increase in 2026, and a consistent 4.5% increase annually from 2027 to 2029.

It is noteworthy that last year, the average monthly nominal wage in Azerbaijan was recorded at 1009.2 manats. In line with these projections, the government has also forecasted in the 2026 budget draft that the average monthly nominal wage will be 1170.8 manats next year, rising to 1246.8 manats in 2027, 1327.6 manats in 2028, and 1411.8 manats in 2029.
